Red Velvet Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Filling

WOW!! This looks AMAZING! I thought I would share this little slice of heaven with you all! I will definitely be making this soon!

How do you make a really good cake? Don’t you have to use Cake Flour, Buttermilk, etc…..? Actually, bakeries use mixes to do large orders and add extra wonderful ingredients! Eggs always at room temperature (you can soak them in hot tap water) and mix the wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately then mix them slowly together. To make an airy cake, mix it an extra minute or two, a denser one, mix for 2 minutes.

Bundt Cake + Red Velvet + Cream Cheese Filling = Heaven! After several tries, I came up with a lovely and extremely tasty cake! Perfect for that special event or VALENTINE’S DAY BABY! Or make it just because it’s RED VELVET CAKE!

  • 1 box Red Velvet cake mix – I used Duncan Hines
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 T softened butter
  •  ½ cup water
  • 3 whole eggs…
