Mommy has a surprise for Caillou: a potty for him to use. No more diapers. Caillou’s a big boy now. After several attempts, a few failures and near-misses, Caillou learns to ask for the potty when he needs it.
Toilet training is an important step in child development. Adults are in a hurry, toddlers have lots of time, but it is essential to respect their own internal rhythm. Children must acquire bowel and bladder control of their own free will.
We are back in the potty training days. My 2 year old loves Calliou, and adores this book. She frequently asks for the “Calliou pee pee potty book”. The images are bright and correspond perfectly with the text. The text of the book is very easy to read, and easy for her to understand. The message of the book is positive, and encouraging for little ears! This book will definitely help little ones gain interest in being a big kid, and using the potty. Especially since Calliou can do it! Wonderful read for little ones!
I rate this book a 4/5 stars. I recommend this book for those of you who have toddlers and going through the potty training days. Pick up your copy on Amazon here.
