Caillou no longer wants to wear diapers even at night. Caillou knows now when he has to use the potty. Very soon, he hopes to use the big toilet and to no longer wear diapers at night.
A parent’s wish to have their child totally potty trained is not necessarily in line with the physiological capacities of their child. This book helps to understand that it is not parents who potty train their child but rather the child who does it on their own.
Calliou is on his way to becoming a big boy! In the first book of the series, we follow Calliou as he starts to learn how to use the potty. In Calliou, No More Diapers we see Calliou now has a big boy seat on the big potty, and he only wears diapers at night! I love how the author has Calliou’s dad be so supportive and understanding when Calliou has an accident in the middle of the night. At the end of the book, Calliou finally sleeps with no diaper and had no accident! Calliou is so proud! He is finally a big boy!
This book is so cute! I recommend it to those of you who are going through the potty training days. Kids love Calliou, and this book will surely have them ready for the big boy/girl potty in no time!
