Product Description

An Unlikely Couple Struggles to Reconcile the Burdens of Their Past
Dani Prescott came to the children’s hospital to spy on Brett Somers–so how did she end up on a date with him? Weeks earlier she’d seen an interview in which he blamed her mother for the plane crash that had killed his parents. But the crash had killed her mother as well, so Dani can’t believe the story Brett’s trying to sell to the media.
Vowing to find a way to discredit the privileged–and maddeningly handsome–Brett, Dani has been following him and taking photos, hoping to find something she can use against him. But when she catches his eye instead, she quickly finds herself offering up a fake name and agreeing to a date. Brett knows this mystery girl is hiding something–but he’s got his own secrets to keep. What will happen when he discovers who she really is? Will Dani and Brett look beyond their own heartaches to discover a love that could heal their deepest pain?

Fresh, flirty, and fast-paced, When Love Arrives is an engaging story that will have readers falling in love with the characters as they navigate the tricky waters between romance and revenge.

My Review:
Have you ever read a book that you didn’t want to ever end? When Love Arrives, was that book for me. Second book of the Misty Willow series, Johnnie Alexander has exceeded all my expectations. This was a book that once I got started, I could not stop. There are nearly 50 chapters, but each chapter is short and easy to read. I would much rather read 50 short chapters, than I had 10 LONG chapters.

When Love Arrives tells the story of Dani Prescott and Brett Somers. Brett is the city’s most eligible bachelor, and he does not have a good reputation with the ladies. He is not the type to fall in love. He uses women for gorgeous arm candy, among other things, provides them gifts and leaves them. He also filmed an interview being unfair and mean about Dani’s mother, who just so happened to be the pilot of the plane that crashed and killed his parents. This interview fueled Dani’s need for revenge. She felt she had to get information, and humiliate him like he did her mother. Dani followed Brett to the hospital to spy on him and get pictures when they ended up face to face. After a quick chat, they ended up on a date. And kept on seeing each other after they both would say this is it. They were falling in love. Each has a pretty big secret they are keeping. What will happen to their relationship once they learn the secrets? That is for you to find out my friends! Read this book! You absolutely will not regret it!
When Love Arrives, is a clean, contemporary romance. It is so refreshing to read a romance novel without all the sexual tension and writing. They reference God, and turning their lives to Christ. Which is exactly what we need to be reading more of, and basing relationships on these days. The book is consistently interesting throughout. I was never bored reading it. Never even wanted to put it down! I highly recommend this book! Go now and order your copy on Amazon! I rate this book a 5/5 stars!
