My Review:
I was so excited to receive this devotional book. My 4 year old son is so interested in the Lord, and loves Him with all his heart. This devotional book is just right for him.
Inside you will find 365 truth-filled devotions. Each begins with a verse, followed by simple and relatable text, the thought for the day, and a prayer for the day. Each devotion text is only a short paragraph long. Which I find perfect for smaller boys, since they don’t have a long attention span anyways. This way, boys of all ages can hear, and understand an important message without getting bored! The devotions are simple, and easy to understand. For the parent, they are easy to teach to our boys. There are so many virtues in this book that are important for personal and spiritual growth of our little boys. They are commanded to be leaders when they become men, so it’s important to instill these values and morals in them now while they are young.
The images are colorful, bright, and attention grabbing! Very attractive book!
Finally, in the back of the book, there are a few pages of verses to learn and “know by heart”. There is no better way to plant the seed in our kids hearts than by helping them memorize scripture. It helps them to hide away Gods word in their heart, so when they are sad, worried, scared, or even happy, they will be able to give praise to God and remember His promises!
