Overcome: Replacing the Lies That Hold Us Down With the Truths That Set Us Free-By: Clayton King

The enemy loves to whisper lies to us, and at the root of every lie he tells us is a fear. I this know all to well. I struggled daily with fears, and the lies the enemy tried to destroy me with. And he held me back for so long making me think, and feel I wasn’t good enough. Or my situation would never be better, just give up. That I was losing. And I would never be victorious, or have peace….then Overcome: Replacing the Lies That Hold Us Down With The Truths That Set Us Free, by Clayton King, arrived in the mail. Clayton goes through some lies in each of the 10 chapters, and provides us with Gods truth, and sets us free. He takes each situation in each chapter and tells us who God is, and what God has done, and will do for us. At the end of each chapter he provides us with a few questions to help enforce what we learned, and how to apply it to our own life situations.
To me, this book isn’t geared for a specific age group, or audience. The enemy targets us all, and without the knowledge and truths of God, as described in this book, we will all fall victim. This book provided me with a sense of peace, and freedom. I know if you give it a chance, it will for you as well. Get this book, let the Holy Spirit speak these truths to you, and change the way you see things. I promise you won’t regret it! I rate this book a 5/5 stars, and wish I could give it more!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed here are true and my own.
